World-renowned Developmental Neuropsychologist Dr. Ronald S. Federici is the founder of Neuropsychological and Family Therapy Associates and Care For Children International, Inc. His passion for helping children suffering from behavioral and developmental disorders has led Dr. Federici to innovative new techniques and treatments that have resulted in his becoming the nation’s foremost Developmental Neuropsychologist. Sought globally for his expertise, Dr. Ronald Federici specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of severe cases of trauma, violent and/or unmanageable behavior, attachment disorders, fetal alcohol syndrome, deprivation, neglect, and school and learning issues. Aside from his work at Neuropsychological and Family Therapy Associates, Dr. Ronald Federici devotes much of his time and energy to championing adoption. Dr. Federici has lobbied extensively for improvements in policies and procedures for international adoptions. Dr. Federici also spends much of his time traveling to Eastern Europe with Care For Children International, a charity that brings relief to orphans through assessments, treatments, and education. With the goal of deinstitutionalizing orphans and placing them in better homes and facilities, Dr. Federici has led his team of devoted and highly trained staff on medical missions, helped build group homes, and personally donated millions of dollars to the cause. Through Dr. Federici’s steadfast dedication, thousands of orphans’ lives have been improved, and changes have been instituted at a government level, ensuring better lives for orphans. Dr. Ronald Federici is the author of the acclaimed book, “Help for the Hopeless Child: A Guide for Families (With Special Discussion for Assessing and Treating the Post-Institutionalized Child).” In his book, Dr. Federici explains the complex issues that many post-institutionalized adopted children suffer from and details proven treatments to help children and their families get past behavioral hurdles and move forward with their lives.
